It is with great great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son and brother Michael Donald Salazar, a resident of El Llano NM. Michael was born on December 13, 1968 and passed away from a short illness on December 15, 2024.
Michael was a loving son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. Michael was a blessing to all who knew him. He was always smiling and had a heart of gold. He had an outgoing personality that captured everyone’s hearts. Those who knew him, loved him. He was a hard-working dependable person and was always willing to help anyone in need. Michael enjoyed spending time with his mother, Siria Salazar, his sister Maria Salazar, and his partner Betty Martinez. They brought him great joy and happiness. Michael also enjoyed fishing and working on cars like his late father Louis Salazar. In addition, Michael loved oldies and music.
Michael was preceded in death by his beloved father Louis Salazar; sister Lisa Salazar; maternal grandparents Florencia (Flora) Salazar, Pablo Salazar, Cruzito Roybal, Eleanor Gomez, and Rufano Roybal; great grandparent Valentine Salazar; Uncles David Salazar and Andrew Salazar; Aunts Carolina Salazar, and Erlinda Herrera (Salazar).
Michael is survived by his Mother Siria Salazar who he loved dearly; Sister Maria Salazar; partner Betty Martinez; nino Florian Roybal; nina Wilma; Godbrother Marvin Pacheco; uncles Leroy A. Herrera, Alfredo Roybal (Amy), and Florian Roybal; Aunts Bella Roybal and Linda Roybal; Close cousins; Suzette Salazar, Richard Salazar, Kenny Salazar, Leroy O. Herrera Jr. (Paula) and his children Elisa, Terrance, Serena, Matthew Herrera; Natile Herrera and her children; Alexis, Lashae, Makaleb Herrera; Raymond Barros and his children Ramoncito and Delberta Baros (Pete Montano); Along with many other relatives and friends.
