Melissa Duran

Melissa A. Duran, 53, a resident of Espanola, New Mexico, passed away on November 22, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her father Leroy Garcia.

She is survived by her mother Rose Garcia, siblings Leroy Garcia Jr. and Yolanda Lucero, children Diamond Rapatz and Adrian Maes, and grandchild Ace Herera.

Melissa was a free spirit that loved to dance and listen to 80’s rock music. She lived life her way, to its fullest, to the beat of her own drum. She had a big personality that couldn’t be missed and could make anyone laugh being quite the character. She loved to cook and feed anyone that was hungry.

Services will be on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 1:30pm at Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe del Valle de Pojoaque Church in Pojoaque, NM.
