MATTHEW C. CASAUS, 61, a resident of Cuba, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017. He was preceded in death by his aunts, Alice Marquez and Ortencia Casaus (Ortie). Matthew worked with the US Forest Service for over 30 years. He was a quiet, simple man who loved his family. He enjoyed the outdoors, whether it was fishing, hunting or camping. He also enjoyed to read his hunting magazines. Mr. Casaus is survived by his companion, Angie Cordova; daughters, Kailee, Savannah, Sierra, and Sydney Casaus; parents, Eustacio and Precilla Casaus; sisters, Glenda (Franz), Helen (Joseph), Pilar, Mary (David) and Anita (Robert); brother, Mark (Loretta) and many other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends whom he loved dearly. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cuba with mass of Christian burial to be celebrated immediately after at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at the Catholic Cemetery in Cuba with the following serving as pallbearers, Ryan Atencio, Isaac Martinez, Joey Pruitt, Michael Paul Casaus, Joshua Rohlfs, Richard Lovato. Honorary pallbearers named are, Alfonso Atencio, Jr., Rick Duran and Dickie Cordova. The family of Matthew C.
