Mary (Talachy) Gutierrez

Mary (Talachy) Gutierrez, 76, was born on September 5, 1941 in Ohkay Owingeh, and went to be with our Lord on June 21, 2018.  She went peaceful at home surrounded by family and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy James Gutierrez and son, Lenny Lee Gutierrez; parents, Amarante and Crucita Talachy; siblings, Jose Alvino Talache/Helen Talache, Stella Tanner/Leslie Tanner, Roy Patrick Talachy, Gary Lee Talachy. She is survived by her children, Linda and Joe Gallegos, Lori Gutierrez, and Lois Edwards; and eight grandchildren, Sierra and Jeremiah Cordova, Brandon Gallegos, Hannah Edwards, Kareem Edwards, Simone Edwards, Hunter Gutierrez and Sky Gutierrez; her brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Thelma Talachy, along with numerous extended family members and loved ones. A rosary will be recited on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pojoaque. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. also at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with burial to follow at the Pojoaque Pueblo Cemetery. The family of Mary (Talachy) Gutierrez has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
