MARY LOUISE “LULU” ROMERO, 62, a resident of Truchas, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 1, 2012. She was preceded in death by her brother, David Archuleta; father, Policarpio Archuleta; first husband, Liberato Vigil, Jr.; brother, Ernie Archuleta; niece. Angel Archuleta; God father and uncle, Oviedo Rael; mother-in-law, Celia Padilla; sister-in-law, Irene Sedillo; brothers-in-law, Gilbert, Henry, Isabro, Ernesto Trujillo and Arquin Romero. Mrs. Romero is survived by her husband, Roy Romero of Truchas; a faithful pet, Eminem; son, Bobby Romero and wife Cherie of El Rancho; daughter, Dorene Rodriguez and husband Anthony of Truchas; grandchildren, Breanna and Anthony Roy Rodriguez, Dylan and Nazarae Romero; mother, Alice Archuleta of Truchas; brother and sisters, Cindy Vigil husband Gene of Truchas, Lucy Lujan husband Pablo of La Mesilla, Larry Archuleta of Truchas, Cathy Otero of Los Lunas, Darlean Urban husband Joe Robert of Las Vegas, NM; brothers and sisters-in-law, Flora Abeyta and husband Paul of San Juan, Adelio Trujillo wife Aggie of Truchas, Rose Trujillo of California, Barbara Trujillo of Rio Chiquito and numerous other loving nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. A rosary will be held on Monday, February 6, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Truchas with the memorial mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at the San Miguel Cemetery in Truchas. The family of Mary Louise “Lulu” Romero has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
