MARYLOU GARCIA, 56, a resident of Chimayo formally of Chamita, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 4, 2018. MaryLou was preceded in death by her daughter, Stephanie Ann Padilla; granddaughter, Annalysa Padilla; father, Genaro Rodriguez Sr.; brothers, Thomas and Anthony Rodriguez; maternal grandparents, Albert and Rosita De Herrera, paternal grandparents, Rosendo and Fedelina Rodriguez; close uncle, Romolo De Herrera; brothers-in-law, Anthony Martinez, Delfine Archuleta, Gilbert Garcia, and Henry Garcia; father and mother–in-law, Bernabe and Fabiola Garcia. MaryLou was a loving person who loved her family dearly. She always had a beautiful smile on her face. She will always be remembered by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband, Johnny Garcia; daughter, Machelle Rodriguez (Francisco), son, Harold Padilla Jr. (Barbara), Joseph Padilla (Jami); grandson who she raised as her own, Jerod Walker; step-sons, Johnny Garcia Jr., Timothy Garcia, Danny Garcia (Julie), step-daughter, Kathy Naranjo (Donald); grandchildren, Neveah Trujillo, MariahLee Garcia, TJ Garcia, Matthew Rodriguez, Kaylee Padilla, Alexa Padilla, Andrew Padilla, Adam Padilla, Destiny Padilla, Rayanne Padilla, Lynessa Padilla, and Jordan Padilla; mother, Irene Rodriguez Vigil (Eddie); sisters, Debra Martinez, Betty Rodriguez (Manuel) and Julia Rodriguez, brother, Genaro Rodriguez (Sally); God-daughter, Shana Mendoza; sisters-in-law, Aggie Lujan, Mary Padilla, Eugenia Barela (Johnny), Josie Garcia, Pat Trujillo (Audoro), and Paulene Garcia, brothers -in-law, Clyde Garcia (Toni), Ben Garcia (Flora); her dog, Mia; aunts, Lydia Wheeler, Linda Chavez (Paul), Joann DeAguero (Archie), Cordie Herrera (Adonaldo), June Galvan, Elma Lovesee, Bernie Trujillo, Maxine Martinez, and Flora Granadino (Jose), uncles, David De Herrera (Marie), and Pete DeHerrera (Roberta), and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
