Marylee B. Lehman, 91, a resident of Los Alamos since 1947 passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 12, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Lehman Sr.; son, Charles A. Lehman Jr.; brother, Seth Baldwin. Marylee was such a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, and was a very good seamstress. Marylee would make some of her children’s and grandchildren’s clothing. She enjoyed baking and one of her favorite was baking cream puffs. No matter what holiday we were celebrating she went all out decorating. She loved the moving carousels and motion activated decorations the best. She was an avid reader and spent her time reading novels, newspapers, magazines and National Geographic, etc. Rest in peace Marylee. She is survived by her son, Leland Lehman of Los Alamos; daughter, Mary A. Salazar and husband John of Albuquerque; sister, Julia Vigil of Santa Fe; sister-in-law, Mae Baldwin of Santa Fe; numerous other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives & friends. Public visitation will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to follow at 2:00 p.m. burial will follow to Guaje Pines Cemetery in Los Alamos with the following serving the family as pallbearers: Leland Lehman, Vincent, Gregory and Andrew Salazar; honorary pallbearers will be all her grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at www.jdrf.org The family of Marylee B.
