Mary C. - Age 77 - Albuquerque Lente

Mary C. Lente – Age 77 a resident of Albuquerque passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Cornelius Jr.; and husband, Jose D. Lente. Mary was employed by PHS Indian Hospital as a medical clerk for 37 years. Mary raised her 4 children in Albuquerque and loved to sing at home and made the best tortillas. Her specialty was red chile. Mary was always happy up beat with a beautiful heart as well as soul and she always spent time praying. Mary loved all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and was a wonderful person. She is survived by her daughters: Cathleen Mary Cruz of Albuquerque and Lisa Lente of Albuquerque; 2 sons; sisters: Sophie Atencio of Santo Domingo Pueblo, Maddi Moffett, Linda Baros and Angel Tafoya all of Albuquerque; brother, Larry Cruz of Albuquerque; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Friday, December 17, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo. Burial will follow at the Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo Cemetery. The family of Mary C.
