Mary B. - age 84 - Los Alamos Nichols

Mary B. Nichols, 84, a resident of Los Alamos passed away of a brief illness on Tuesday, October 1, 2013. Mary was preceded in death by her brother; Mike Jarvis, sister, Patty Jarvis; and grandson, Christopher Nolte. Mary was a long time resident of Los Alamos, active in her parish church the Immaculate Heart of Mary. She was a wonderful wife, and mother, and she was dedicated to her many friends in the community. She is survived by her spouse; Arthur Nichols of Los Alamos, daughter Kate Nolte and husband Tom of Estero, Fl, Patty Ricci and husband Joe of Evans, GA, and Jane Nichols of San Francisco C.A., son, Art Nichols and wife Jana of Los Alamos, and Joe Nichols of Jackson, W.Y., 7 grandchildren, Sarah, Matthew, Spencer, and Alexandra Nichols, Meaghan Nolte, Kirk Rohrig, and David Ricci, and her beloved toy poodle “Daisy”. A memorial service will be held sometime in April with a burial at a later date at Guaje Pines Cemetery in Los Alamos.
