MARYANN NADINE ROMERO, 64, a resident of Española passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, July 19, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Teofilo and Epimenia Medina; grandson, Christopher Bennet and brother-in-law, Leon Guerin. Mrs. Romero is survived by her husband of 45 years, Nick Romero of Española; children, Casildo Romero and wife Dani of San Jose California, Roberto Romero and wife Zulika of Las Vegas, Nevada and Camilla Romero and companion Rory Arnold of Española; grandchildren, Alexandria, Casildo, Jr., Brandon, Juan Carlos and Roberto Romero, Jr.; sisters, Patsy Sanchez and Joyce Guerin and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. also at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. Burial to follow at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Santa Cruz with the following serving as pallbearers, Rudy Romero, Ray Medina, Julian Sanchez, Teofilo Guerin, Juan Marcos Guerin, Brandon Romero and Casildo Romero, Jr, and Tommy Padilla, honorary pallbearers will be; Juan Carlos and Roberto Romero. The family of Maryann Nadine Romero has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
