Mary Ann - Age 73 - Los Luceros Quintana

Mary Ann Quintana – Age 73 a resident of Los Luceros passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2010 peacefully with her family surrounding her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Quintana; Ciriaco Maes, father of her children; sons: Anthony Maes, Richard Martin Maes and Ciriaco Maes Jr; and father, Clemente Gallegos. Mary Ann was a strong woman who raised 7 children alone. She was always a loving caring person who always would open the door to anyone in need. She taught her children to love the Lord and each other. She loved the outdoors and gardening. She loved her grandchildren very much, she will be dearly missed. She is survived by her daughters: Leonor Luna and husband Felipe of Mountainair, Maria Maes of Albuquerque, Silvia Herrera and husband Epimenio of Los Luceros and Mary Lou Maes of Los Luceros; sons: Toby Maes and wife Sandra and Richard Maes all of Albuquerque; mother, Celsa Gallegos of Los Luceros; brother-in-law, Jose Maes of Los Luceros; grandchildren: Anna, Esperanza, Dawn, Michael, Christina and husband Daniel, Veronica, James, Mathew, Rebecca and Katherine; great-grandchildren: baby girl on the way, Jadrian, Callie, Wesley and Julien. Public visitation will be held on Sunday, December 26, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 27, 2010 at 12 noon at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Serving as pallbearers will be: Toby Maes, Michael Garley, Richard Maes, James Naranjo, Jose Maes and Mathew Naranjo.
