MaryAnn - Age 65 - Gallina DuRand

MaryAnn DuRand, born March 1, 1946 in St. Paul Minnesota, MaryAnn DuRand passed away at home in Gallina surrounded by her family, December 23, 2011. She was a graduate of Northern New Mexico College with an associates in Science with honors from there, she went on to a job with the USDAF. She was an avid reader and had a love of cats. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Edward Fuchs; mother, Anna Frederick; step-father, Jim Frederick; and father, Edward DuRand. She is survived by her children: LuWaine (Anna) Lovato, Jana-Lee Meeks and husband Carl, Marr-Lee (Bucky) Fuchs and wife Storm, Faustina Cordova and husband Sammy Joe; as well as fourteen grandchildren; one great grandchild and numerous other relatives and friends. As per her wishes, following cremation a private family service will be held at a later date. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Española Presbyterian Hospital, ICU nurses and to Albuquerque Presbyterian Hospital Adult ICU for the compassionate care of our mother during this difficult time, and also a special thank you to the Hospice Care.
