Mary Age - 61 Ojo Caliente Valdez

Mary Valdez, Age 61 – a resident of Ojo Caliente passed away peacefully in her sleep and is no longer suffering from diabetes, on Wednesday, March 2, 2011. She was a Native of Pennsylvania; graduate of Penn State with a degree in Accounting. Mary worked in several clerical positions, and was currently employed by Las Cumbres. She was a devoted member of Valley View United Methodist Church. She loved to read, watch movies and to quilt. She will be missed dearly by family and friends. Mary is survived by her husband, Jerry Valdez of Ojo Caliente; sister-in-law, Carol Kinn of Ojo Caliente; brother-in-law, Carl Valdez and wife Gretchen of Minneapolis; daughter, Cherie Heiser of Pennsylvania. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Valley View United Methodist Church in Española. In lieu of flowers please make donations to American Diabetes Association or the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, or the Valley View United Methodist Church.
