Mary Martha Archuleta, age 77, of La Mesilla, NM, passed away peacefully April 24, 2024, with her loving family by her side.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years Cippie Archuleta, daughters Yvonne Martinez and Beverly Mendoza, grandson Gabriel Archuleta. Parents Fidel and Gloria Sanchez, sister and brother-in-law Barbra and Gilbert Salazar, aunt Mary Montoya who was like a second mother to her.
Martha was such a gentle and beautiful soul and a very attractive woman. Everyone knew her for her unconditional love, nurturing and caring heart. She always had time for anyone who needed to talk or a shoulder to cry on. She never let you leave without saying “I love you”. She was always ready, with a joke, and great piece of advise.
Martha loved her family deeply. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her family knew her love was deep and always believed in the good in everyone.
Her faith in the lord was very strong. She always gave you a small reminder that the Lord loved you and you always needed to keep him in your heart. Her faith carried her through lots of life storms which made her the strong woman she became. Despite her strength she was very soft spoken.
