Mary Evangeline (Lucero) Archuleta

One year ago on August 5th, 2023 at the age of 89 years old Mary Evangeline (Lucero) Archuleta passed away from natural causes. 

She was preceded in death by her mother Modesta Chavez, her father Catalino Lucero, her husband Frank V Archuleta, her five sons Frank F Archuleta, David A Archuleta, Michael R Archuleta, Joseph J Archuleta and Jerry R Archuleta, her grandson Jonathan M Lucero and many others. 

She is survived by her daughter Yvonne Lucero, her grandson Jason Lucero and her great grandson Brian Lucero. 

Trying to describe this beautiful soul could be endless. In a few words… Strength, Love, Light and Loyalty. The strength to carry a Cross so heavy as hers throughout her life, keep her faith and continue loving and caring for her family and friends the way she did until the very end is truly impressive. She loved so deeply with all her heart and was loved by so many. She was a light so bright in this world that she shined through no matter how much darkness was thrown her way. She was the loyal wife of Frank V Archuleta…her one and only. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, cousin and friend to so many. Her passing came with great sadness but her light and love will shine on through those who were fortunate enough to be loved by her.
