Mary Hadd - Jordan

MARY KATHRYN JORDAN, born Mary Kathryn Hadd on January 6, 1963 in St. Paul Minnesota to Edward and Kathryn Hadd, passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 after a battle with cancer. Mary has been a member of the Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church in Los Alamos, since 2000, and was a very active volunteer there. As a child growing up in Minnesota, Mary excelled at downhill skiing, soccer, swimming and in elementary school she was a finalist as a state champion at spelling. Mary was a graduate of St. Catherine’s College in St. Paul, MN and Northern New Mexico college in Espanola. She has spent the past 22 years as a caregiver. She is survived by her parents, Edward Hadd and wife Audrey of Shoreview, MN and mother, Kathryn Barrington of North Fork, Idaho; a brother, Gary Had and wife Aya Fujisaki of Portland, Oregon; her partner for the past 8 years Bernie Manzanares of El Rito; and a large family that includes many cousins, aunts, uncles in Minnesota and also Jillian Kordosky, Alabama and Jude Domizio of Hawaii and many friends in Los Alamos and El Rito. A special acknowledgement to Bob Wigger, Susan Sprake, and the Manzanares family for their friendship and support these past years. The family wishes to also acknowledge Dr. Michelle Carr, Hospice of Los Alamos and Ambercare Hospice, Mother Alicia of the Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church for the important role they played in her life. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church on 3900 Trinity Dr, Los Alamos, NM 87544.
