Mary Clara Espinoza, Born September 29, 1938, peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on February 9, 2023. She was preceded in death by her son Michael Espinoza, her parents Armando and Celia Archuleta, brothers Robert Rivera and Isaac Archuleta and other beloved relatives.
She is survived by her children, Virginia (Lorena) Espinoza, Renee (Mike) Jaramillo and Gerald Espinoza and the father of her children Miguel Espinoza Jr. Along with 7 grandchildren, Antoinette (Andy) Pacheco, David (Nicole) Jaramillo, Brandie Jaramillo, Anthony (Shanee) Espinoza, Kristina (Pat) Espinoza, Geralynn (T J) Espinoza and Ahmia TamuPovi and 16 great-grandchildren. Her brothers and sisters, Andy Rivera, Isabel (Jerry) Ball, Jeanie Gonzales, Amelia (Henry) Roybal, Martha (Juan) Mejia, Hermino Archuleta, Pete (Dalilah) Archuleta, Joe Archuleta, Annie (Gerald) Castaneda and Lucy (Eddie) Rios, also surviving her are her God children, Melissa Castaneda, Armando Archuleta, and Joseph Trujillo along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Mary also known by many as Clara, had a strong faith that led her through this life.
She always had a smile and kind words to share with all those who came into her path.
Clara was a Godly woman. Many people who knew Clara can remember her beautiful way of listening to you, sharing her delicious food and enjoying her family. She participated in the Foster Grand Parent Program, which brought her great joy.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 16 at 10:00 am at the Sangre De Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home with a burial to be held immediately at the El Rancho Assembly of God Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Jaramillo, Lorena Avina, David Jaramillo, Anthony Espinoza, T J Brooks, Hailey Pacheco, John Mejia and Armando Archuleta.
