Lisa St. Martin, born Mary Elizabeth Ortiz, on May 8, 1957, was a lifelong resident of Alcalde, NM.
Lisa worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory for 15 years. Though she never became a fan of the commute, she enjoyed the company of those she worked with. Upon her departure from LANL, she focused on her children and family. Lisa was a loving person who enjoyed her tv stories, Yellowstone and spending time with her kids and family. Lisa was what you could call a homebody, but never said no to a random adventure or a trip to Mike's to get her favorite pizza. Lisa never failed to say what was on her mind and always lent a listening ear. Those closest to her will always tell stories of her funny comments, stories of the past and her kind, giving gestures. She never forgot an upcoming family gathering and always added a special "Lisa" touch to her gift – a spray of perfume, a cute note in your card, or a unique bag that she loved. Lisa will be extremely missed by those who knew and loved her.
Lisa was preceded in death by her son Joshua St. Martin; maternal grandmother Genara Valdez; paternal grandparents Julian and Florida Ortiz; sister Jeanette Ortiz; father Paul Ortiz; and step[1]father Estevan Archuleta.
Lisa is survived by her mother Genevieve Archuleta; sister Paula Ortiz; brother Joseph Ortiz (Beverly); children - Cynthia Martinez (Ronald), Antonio Ortiz, and Jacob Ortiz (Rebeka); grandchildren - Gabriel Barela, Katelyn Martinez, Emily, Jeanette, Maggie Mae and Antonio Ortiz Jr., and Aria and Zackariah Medina; a very special niece Angel Trujillo-Cordova and many other family members and close friends.
