Mary - Age 77 - Española - Griego

MARY E. GRIEGO, 77, a resident of Española, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, David S. Griego; son, Donald Griego; daughter, Rosanne Kincaid; brother, Fred Gallegos and sisters, Ines Ayala and Bernadette Chacon. Mary was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a strong woman with a tremendous amount of faith who loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart. She loved cooking and baking for her family and friends, along with her cooking she will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Mrs. Griego is survived by her children, Barbara James and husband Mark, Patricia Valerio and husband Leonard and David Griego; brother, Albino Gallegos and wife Nora; sisters, Connie Schleft and husband Bill and Carmen De Paoli; grandchildren, Christopher and Jennifer Johnson, Sean and Jessica Kincaid, Michael Valerio, Amanda Warren and husband Fabian and Brittani Griego; great-granddaughter, Julianna Warren and many loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Española with a memorial mass to be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Mount Calvary cemetery in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The family of Mary E. Griego has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.\r\n \r\n
