Mary - Age 74 - Española - Shiver

Mary L. Shiver, 74, a resident of Española formerly of La Madera, passed away of natural causes on Monday, June 23, 2014. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Jack C. Shiver; parents, Abel and Manuelita Montoya; sisters, Ruth M. Trujillo, Olivia Bustos and Petra Montoya; brother, Thomas Montoya, Willie Montoya; brothers-in-law, Aurelio Trujillo and Alfonso Bustos, sister-in-law, Della Montoya son-in-law, Joseph Howard. Mary enjoyed helping people and enjoyed the company of family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Mary is survived by her son, William Shiver and wife Mierya Chavez, daughter, Manuelita Shiver, also survived by her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in La Madera, with a burial to follow at La Madera Cemetery. Serving the family as pallbearers are Joseph Howard, Jordon, Joey, Freddie and Bernie Trujillo, and Mario Ruiz, honorary pallbearers named are Don Trujillo Jr., Antonio Ramirez, Eunice Nadine Vigil, and Jason Howard. The family of Mary Shiver has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.\r\n
