Martin N. - Age 77 - Santa Fe Schleifer

MARTIN N. SCHLEIFER, 77, a resident of Santa Fe, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 29, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents. Martin was a 22 year resident of Santa Fe and retired from the Fox Chase Cancer Research Center in Philadelphia where he was employed for 16 years. He traveled the world and took pride in his dog, “Lucky” who was his constant companion. Mr. Scheifer was a U.S. Army Veteran. He leaves behind a sister, Mildred Dienstag of New York and his many friends to cherish his memory. Burial will take place on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe. The Schleifer family has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.\r\n
