Marjorie A Gallegos
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister, auntie and friend Marjorie “Margie” A. Gallegos, of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Marjorie went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 21, 2024, after a hard-fought battle with health complications.
Marjorie is preceded in death by her father, Pete Gallegos Jr. Her maternal grandparents, Eugenio and Lauriana Martinez and her paternal grandparents Pete and Josephine Gallegos Sr. and other special relatives and friends.
Marjorie is survived by her mother, caretaker, and best friend Olivia Gallegos, her younger siblings Peter Gallegos and Paula Perdue (brother-in-law Billy Perdue Sr.), nieces Franchesca and Crystal, her only nephew Billy Jr., great nephew and Godson Billy III and great niece Lia.; all whom she loved as her own children. Nieces Jennifer (Matthew Brazil) and Tamara and great nieces and nephews (Braelyn, Camden, Karsyn, Kody and Mason), special friend Gabriel Larranaga and many other relatives and friends with whom she shared her love and life with.
Marjorie will be remembered for her smile that lit up every room she entered, the love she had for God, her family and people, her independence and her will to keep fighting. She went through many years of health complications and hospital stays, but her faith never waivered even on her toughest days. During her last hospital stay, all she hoped for was to return home to her mama and her babies.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday August 10, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Victory Faith Church in Espanola. 823 Angel Duran Drive Espanola, NM 87532. Private burial will take place.
