Mario Villa, 63, a resident of Chimayo, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2014. Mario was preceded in death by his parents, George and Tila Villa; uncle, Nick Trujillo. Mario had an awesome sense of humor. He was very sociable and friendly. He met many people in his line of work as a weaver. Mario had some college education and was very intelligent and could converse on any subject at any time. He loved his cars. The Dodge Charger was his favorite. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Mario is survived by his cousins, Paul Romero, Pete Romero both of Santa Fe; Tom Romero and girlfriend Patricia of Chimayo; Leta Trujillo of Pojoaque; and Dan Romero of Arroyo Seco, Jeff Trujillo, Terry Trujillo of Chimayo, Gary Trujillo, Bert Trujillo Jr. of Española, and Bernadette of Mesa, AZ; uncle, Bert Trujillo of Albuquerque; close friend, Harold Martinez and wife Floraida of Chimayo; Peggy Ortega of Chimayo; Benino Martinez of Chimayo; Mark Trujillo and wife Mary of Valley Estates, and Carlos Trujillo of Chimayo, and numerous other relatives and friends. Services are pending at this time, and will be announced as soon as they become available.
