Maria T. "Dora" - Age 88 - El Ranch Roybal

Maria T. (Dora) Roybal, 88, of El Rancho went to be with our dear Lord on Monday, December 24, 2012 with her loving family by her side. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tomas and Matilde Roybal; son, Joe Ray Roybal; sister, Vicenta Lujan; brothers, Veronico and Pedro Roybal; grandchildren, Gilbert Ray Roybal, Danny Paul Roybal, Edward, Anna and Henry Esquibel, Jr. and son-in-law, Henry Esquibel, Sr. Maria was born June 28, 1924, and was a lifelong resident of El Rancho. Maria enjoyed being surrounded by her family and spent her time cooking, baking, gardening, sewing and visits to the casino with her husband and close friends. Maria T. Roybal is survived by her husband of 71 years, Pedro Roybal; children, Carol Esquibel of Cuarteles, Gus (June) Roybal, Billy (Cordelia) Roybal, Danny (Diolinda) Roybal, and Larry Roybal all of El Rancho; 15 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Loyola (Roger) Valdez, Berlinda (Victor) Martinez and Tina Herrera and other relatives and friends. Public visitation will be held on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. at Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe del Valle de Pojoaque with a wake to be held at 6:30 p.m. and a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, December 31, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. also at Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe del Valle de Pojoaque. Burial will follow at El Rancho Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, David Baros, William Roybal, Lenny Roybal, Isaac Roybal, Matthew Lopez, Marco Roybal, Corey Ortiz and Jesus Roybal.
