Maria T. Age - 86 Chimayo Montoya

Maria T. Montoya, 86, a resident of Chimayo, NM passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2011. Maria was born on January 16, 1925. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Manuel N. Montoya of 62 years marriage; son, Joe Montoya; parents, Pulita and Valentine Trujillo; sisters: Ramoncita Garcia and Magdelena Espinoza; brothers: Willie Trujillo and Abel Trujillo. Maria is survived by her life-time live in brother, Narciso Trujillo, also Guadalupe Trujillo of Arizona; children: Rudy Montoya and companion Margie Archuleta, Tommy Montoya and wife Valerie, Israel Sr. Montoya and companion Ruby Montoya, Telesfor and wife Jeannette Montoya; sisters: Cruzita Lopez and husband Jimmy, Betty Montoya and companion Lawrence Medina; many other loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives & friends. We would like to thank Ambercare and Hospice Team, especially Sue Hansen, Deacon Jose Lopez. Public visitation will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 8, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo with burial to follow at Nuestra Señora de Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Chimayo with the following serving as pallbearers: Vanessa Montoya (Goddaughter), Janelle Lopez (Goddaughter), Claudette Grinage, Davina Montoya, Isabelle Martinez, LoriAnn Montoya; honorary pallbearers: Thomas Martinez, Jose Montoya, Israel Jr. Montoya and Norman Archuleta.
