Marianita - age 82 - Santa Fe Sanchez

\r\nMARIANITA SANCHEZ, 82, a resident of Santa Fe, was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 19, 2014. She was born in Leyba, NM, she lived in Santa Cruz, NM for many years then moved to Santa Fe. She was preceded in death by a very special nephew, Jose Sanchez whom she raised. Ms. Sanchez is survived by her sister, Gavina Hernandez of Albuquerque; special niece, Marla Sanchez (daughters, Angelica and Natalia) who helped take very good care of her. She will be dearly missed. A rosary will be recited on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the (old) San Isidro Church on Agua Fria Street, directly followed by a mass. Burial to follow at the Rosario Cemetery. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at Santa Fe Care Center. The family of Marianita Sanchez has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
