Maria "Gloria" Gallegos

MARIA “GLORIA” T. GALLEGOS, 83, a resident of El Guache, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, March 13, 2019.  She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Gallegos; parents, Frank and Creselda Trujillo; brother, Elidio Trujillo, sister, Eufelia Lopez.  Gloria was a teacher within the Espanola schools for many years. She loved traveling, cooking and going camping. She was dedicated to her faith attending church every Sunday. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.  Gloria is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Raymond Gallegos; daughter, Claire Gallegos; adopted son, Raymond Michael Gallegos; grandchildren, Justine Torrez, Norraine Torrez, Lorraine Torrez and Levi Gallegos, great-grandchildren, Hugo Velador Jr., Isabel Velador, Marcus and Joshua Gallegos, Brian De La Cruz, Angelo Torrez and Aldo Martinez; helper on the farm and around the house Hugo Velador and Beto Nuñez; caretakers, Albert Villalobos, Jesse Trujillo, Angela Rios and Lillian Villalobos and many nieces, relatives, family and friends. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Valley Bible Baptist Church located in Arroyo Seco with a reception to follow at 11:00 a.m. burial will follow at 2:15 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.  Serving the family as pallbearers will be Justine Torrez, Raymond M. Gallegos, Levi Gallegos, Hugo Velador, Luis Velador, Natasha Williams, Luke McMath, Beto Nuñez.  The family of Maria “Gloria” T.
