Maria Quintana

Maria O. Quintana, age 93, resident of El Rancho, went to be with our lord in Heaven on Sunday, May 15, 2016. She died peacefully at her home surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her husband Pablo and parents, Estanislado, and Concepcion Gallegos; sisters, Ramona, Emelina, Eutemia, brothers; Trinidad, and Augustiniano. She is survived by her brother Joe Gallegos, daughters; Bertha Gutierrez (Joe), Dolores (Ben), Gloria Quintana, and Christella Lopez (Orlando), grandchildren Lori, Orlando Paul, and Deanna Lopez, Shelly Clapp, Monica McManaway, great-grandchildren; Dalian and Deondro Lopez, Alexa Clapp, and Eden and Livy McManaway; brother-in-law, Dan Quintana; and many other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at the San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church in El Rancho, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church. Burial will be held at a later date at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, with the following serving as pallbearers, Joe Gutierrez, Orlando L. Lopez, Orlando P. Lopez, Ben Garcia, Dalian and Deondro Lopez. The family of Maria O. Quintana has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley. 505-747-7477
