MARIA L. MARTINEZ, 88, a resident of El Guache, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019. Maria was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Romero and Manuelita Martinez; husband, Ramon O. Martinez; granddaughter, Crystal Maestas; in-laws, Elisa and Luis Lopez, Alfonso and Rumalda Martinez, Mike and Amelia Martinez, Willie Romero; daughter, Laura Martinez; and special friend Pauline Jacquez. Maria always enjoyed many things including fishing and going to bingo at the Casino. She loved her children and grandchildren above anything else. She is survived by her children, Andy O. Martinez, Juliette Martinez (Gary); grandchildren, Deena Marie Trujillo (Matthew), Andrew Martinez (Maria Vigil), Rebecca Jacquez (Isaiah), Matthew Jacquez (Samantha) and Kayleen Jacquez, great-grandchildren, Alexander Trujillo, Kashton Martinez, Ariana Jacquez; former daughter-in-law, Carmen Martinez; siblings, Lillian Romero, Clorinda Martinez, Martha Martinez, Robert Martinez (Grace), Jose Martinez (Susie), Julia Ortiz and Lucille Maestas (Eloy); and numerous nieces, nephews and family.
