Maria Gallegos

MARIA “ESTELA” GALLEGOS , a lifelong resident of Hernandez, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at the age of 72 following a lengthy illness. She was born on February 1, 1948 to Estevan and Amelia Gallegos who precede her in death. She was a devoted Catholic and loved her family dearly. She was a loving and caring lady. She was preceded in death by her brother, Alfonso Gallegos and Benjamin Trujillo and sister, Josephina Lopez. Estela is survived by her brother, Leroy Gallegos and sister, Lucy Martinez and husband Bert. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 12:15 p.m.at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Española with Mass of Christian burial to follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial to follow at the Hernandez Cemetery. The family would like to give a special thank you to all and any caregivers that took care of their precious Estella. She loved to talk on the phone with her family and friends, so Estela if Heaven has a phone, please call us anytime. We love you.
