Maria Espinoza

MARIA J. ESPINOZA, 91, a resident of Pojoaque, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 28, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luben Espinoza; Daughter, Margaret Sanchez; son-in-law, Anthony Sanchez; grandson, Andrew Sanchez; mother, Eva Valdez, father, Manuel Herrera; step-father, Valentine Valdez. Maria is survived by her children, Alfred Espinoza (Viola), Dorelia Lujan (Richard), Christopher Espinoza (Margie), Lonnie Espinoza, Louella Morgan (Christopher), 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Public Visitation will begin on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pojoaque with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. also at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pojoaque. Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 12:45 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. The family of Maria J. Espinoza has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley.
