Margo Romero

MARGO ROMERO born November 26,1954, in Oklahoma passed peacefully in her sleep on August 17, 2024. 

Margo was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Naranjo of Santa Clara Pueblo and parents William & June Maxey of Mineral Wells, Texas. 

Margo is survived by her brother David Maxey of San Antonio, Texas and 3 children Kina Atencio of Fleming Island, FL, Shanna Allander of Albuquerque, NM, and Kali Gonzalez currently residing in Germany. She was the proud grandmother of Taylor Maciel, Izabella Leija, Logan Leija and great-granddaughter Helena Maciel. 

Margo was a retired nurse who served the Northern NM Community for many years with her kindness and compassion for all people. She had a deep love for nature and loved to nurture her garden while having a special love for native plants of New Mexico. 

Her unique character and personality will be missed by those close to her. May she rest in peace and enjoy the afterlife.
