Margaret Lucero

MARGARET ANN TRUJILLO LUCERO “PEGGY”, 79, a resident of El Rito, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Elisa Trujillo; sisters, Drucilla Perdoza and Susie Medina; brother, Ray Paul Trujillo; sisters-in-law, Lorraine Trujillo and Cruzelda Trujillo. She loved going to bingo. Margaret was an active member of the San Juan Nepomuceno Catholic Church and the Las Esclavas de San Antonio. She will be missed dearly by all. Mrs. Lucero is survived by her husband of 47 years, Alfredo Lucero; children, Neto Abeyta, Kristina Mercado and Patricia Abeyta; brothers and sisters, Pete Trujillo, Robert L. Trujillo and wife Gloria, Eloy Trujillo, Angela Ortiz and husband Frank, Andrew Trujillo and wife Orlinda and Mario Trujillo and wife Donna; brother-in-law, Gilbert Medina; sister-in-law, Eva Trujillo and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the San Juan Nepomuceno Catholic Church in El Rito, with a memorial mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the El Rito Catholic Cemetery. The family of Margaret Ann Trujillo Lucero has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
