Marcella Age - 54 - Chama Gonzales

Marcella Gonzales, 54, a resident of Chama passed away on Friday, December 9, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gonzalo Gonzales; step-daughter, Leanna Gonzales; father, Simon Martinez; brother, Rafael Martinez. Marcella is survived by her mother, Rafaelita Martinez of Abiquiu; brothers: Simon Martinez III of Arizona, Ben Martinez and wife Dolores of Texas, Mike Martinez and wife Sally of Farmington, Reverend Vidal Martinez of Chamita and Juan Martinez of Santa Fe; sisters: Juanita Gallegos and husband Eloy, Melinda Mondragon, Elizaida Martinez, Vicentita Rivera and husband Robert and Agapita Martinez all of Abiquiu; step-children: Gonzalo Gonzales, Jr. and family, Miguel Gonzales and wife Cecilia, Ricky Gonzales, Ramona Gonzales and Quica Chaviras and family; numerous nephews, nieces, cousin & other loving relatives & friends. A rosary will be recited on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Abiquiu with burial to follow at Gonzales Chapel Cemetery in Chama with the following serving as pallbearers: Seledon Garcia, Jimmy Ulibarri, Orlando Lopez, Conrad Cordova, David Mondragon and Sean Martinez; honorary pallbearers: Marlo Martinez, Tommy Rodella & all her nephews. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial contributions be made to the St. Thomas Catholic Church in Abiquiu.
