MANUELITA T. ARCHULETA , 78, a resident of Chamita, was born March 15, 1942 and passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 peacefully surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucas and Adela Trujillo; husband, Tomas D. Archuleta; sons, Thomas (Guero), Jose (Lio) and Atanacio (Tito) Archuleta; daughter, Brenda Archuleta-Martinez; great-grandson, Xavior Martinez; brothers, Leo, Pete, Jose, Adolfo and Eppie Trujillo and sister, Emma Sisneros. Mrs. Archuleta is survived by her daughter, Angelica Archuleta of Chamita; close daughter-in-law, Corrine Trujillo of Alcalde; son-in-law, Eliseo Martinez, Sr. of Rio Rancho; grandchildren, Carlos Archuleta, Eliseo Martinez, Jr., Nicole Herrera, Michelle (Lamont) Cole, Lucas Archuleta and Emilio Archuleta; great-grandchildren, Acelynn Herrera, Jose Archuleta, Juliana Martinez, Aiden and Kendra Cole and Adam Archuleta; sisters, Rose Medina of Denver, Bertha (Sef) Borrego of Santa Cruz, Vicentita Esquibel of Alcalde; brother, Lucas (Olivia) Trujillo of Alcalde; sisters-in-law, Nancy Trujillo, Mary Trujillo of Alcalde and Juanita Casados of El Guique; very close cousin, Ernestine Herrera of Alcalde and many other relatives and friends. Services are pending at this time and will be announced. The following will be serving as pallbearers, Carlos Archuleta, Eliseo Martinez, Jr., Lucas Archuleta, Emilio Archuleta, Nicole Herrera, Michelle Cole, Ernest Borrego, and Matthew Borrego. Honorary pallbearers will be all her great-grandchildren. The family of Manuelita T. Archuleta has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
