Manuel Ruben "Shubby" Lujan

Manuel (Ruben) Lujan (aka Shubby), age 72, of Espanola, NM, passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday, September 16, 2023.  

He is preceded in death by his children Manuel, Michael and Carlos Lujan; his parents Manuel and Siria Lujan; sister Catherine Salazar; brother Ronny Lujan; brothers-in-law Benny Arellano and Gilbert Arellano; sister-in-law Ellen Arellano; mother-in-law Annie Herrera.

Manuel (Ruben) Lujan is survived by his wife Patricia Lujan; his three grandchildren Dylan, Josh and Brooke Lujan; sister Theresa Roybal; brother Rudy Lujan (Tina); sisters-in-law Theresa Vigil, Veronica Chacon, Rose Vogt (Don), Pauline Arellano, Olga Lujan and Carol Arellano; brother-in-law Ed Herrera. He is further survived by many nephews, nieces, God-children, other relatives and many friends.

Manuel (Ruben) enjoyed telling jokes, camping, fishing, spending time with his family and watching the Denver Broncos play. Most people will remember him by his kindness, compassion and genuine ability to make people happy.
