Mabel Rendon

Mabel Rendón, 72, a Current resident of Espanola, originally from Velarde, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2015. Mabel was born on October 2, 1942 and was the youngest of six children. Mabel was preceded in death by her parents, Preciliano and Domitilia Rendón; sisters, Alvinita Rendón, Alvinita Gasca, and Eloisa Roybal, brother, Emilio Rendón; sister-in-law, Reyes Rendón; brothers-in-law, Samuel Trujillo, Adolfo Gasca and Robert Duran. Mabel is survived by her daughter, Domitila Rendón-Varela and husband David; son, Presciliano Rendón and wife Michelle; sister, Frances R. Duran; grandchildren, Kayla Rendón-Ortiz and husband Domingo, Jacob and Isaac Varela, and Mario and Tabitha Rendón; as well as, many nieces and nephews. Public visitation will begin on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Velarde, with a rosary to be recited at 1:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, with a burial to follow at the Velarde Cemetery, with the following serving the family as pallbearers: Mario and Mark Rendón, Jacob and Isaac Varela, Tyler Dominguez and Domingo Ortiz. The family of Mabel Rendón has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley. \r\n \r\n \r\n
