Lucy Elizabeth - Santa Fe Valerio

LUCY ELIZABETH VALERIO, a resident of Santa Fe was born December 4, 1957 and joined our Heavenly Father on Friday, February 11, 2011 following a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her father, Juan Tilo Valerio and her grandparents. Facing everyday challenges with her disabilities never stopped Lucy from helping and volunteering for others. She was an amazing person who enjoyed all of life’s greatest treasures, including spending time with family, friends and her dog, Taz. Ms. Valerio is survived by her mother, Christine Borrego Valerio; brothers, Daniel Valerio of Alcalde, Marc A. Valerio and companion Angelina of Santa Cruz and John Valerio and companion Pam of Santa Fe; nieces, Marcae Riggs, Nicole Vigil and Jennifer Roybal; nephew, Marc J. Valerio and many aunts and uncles. Cremation has taken place. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. Memorial mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. also at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. Serving as pallbearers will be her best friends, Donny Lovato and Pam Chacon. The family of Lucy Elizabeth Valerio has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
