Luben Age - 90 - Pojoaque Espinoza

Luben Espinoza, 90, loving husband and father, a resident of Pojoaque, New Mexico passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 10, 2012. He was a WWII Navy Veteran, a member of Sociadad Protecion Mutua de Trabajores Unidos. He was also a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pojoaque. Luben was a master carpenter and cabinet maker and was an accomplished horseman, and hard working rancher. Luben was preceded in death by his father, Eduardo Espinoza; mother, Marianita Gallegos; step-father, Emilio Roybal; children: Margaret Sanchez and husband Anthony; grandchild, Andrew Sanchez; sister, Marie Cisneros. Luben is survived by his wife Maria Espinoza; Children: Alfredo Espinoza and wife Viola, Dorelia (Dori) Lujan and husband Richard, Christopher Espinoza and wife Margie, Lonnie Espinoza and Louella Gallegos; grandchildren: Larry and Eva Espinoza, Jacqueline Nielsen, Karyn Lujan, Adam and Paula Espinoza, Kevin Sanchez, Eric Giron, Jonathan and Janelle Gallegos; great-grandchildren: Shenisha and Larisha Espinoza, Madeline and Emily Nielsen, Noah Vigil, Eric David and Darren Giron; and a sister, Irene Cisneros. Public visitation will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pojoaque with the rosary to follow at 10:30 a.m. and funeral service to take place at 11:00 a.m. with burial to take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:45 p.m. Serving the family as pallbearers will be: Adam Espinoza, Kevin Sanchez, Larry Espinoza, Eric Giron, Leon Cisneros, Joaquin Nielsen and Christopher Morgan.
