LORRAINE PACHECO, 65 passed away Friday, March 27, 2015 surrounded by her family at Christus Saint Vincent Regional Center in Santa Fe. She went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ leaving behind many loved ones. She was preceded in death by her father, Alfares Quintana, age 84, in 2003; brother, William James Quintana in 2007; nephew, Steven Quintana, 2014. She will be received with open arms in her final resting place. No more suffering, no more pain. Lorraine was the heart of Peñasco. She loved her job, her elders, and her co-workers. She was a ray of sunshine every morning, regardless of how she felt she didn’t let sickness get in the way. Her pride and joy was her husband, daughters, and grandkids. Although she lived in different states, she came back to her roots where she grew up. Mrs. Pacheco is survived by her husband, Joe of 44 of years of marriage; her two beautiful daughters, Joyce (Ruben) and Jenny (Ernie); granddaughter, Miranda, Savanna; grandson, Jaime; great-granddaughter, Sofia Lorraine; mother, Juanita Quintana of Las Vegas NM; siblings, Edward Joseph Quintana (Christine) of Grants, Steve Fred Quintana (Lupita) of Chimayo, Frances Sandoval (Birdie) of Yuma, Arizona, Sharon Pacheco (Luis) and Ivy Romero (Mario) both of Las Vegas, NM. She is also survived by many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, cousins and many many friends. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church in Peñasco. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. also at the San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church in Peñasco. Burial to follow at the Llano Quintana Cemetery in Llano de San Juan. Serving the family as pallbearers are Ernest Quintero Jr., Ruben Quiroz Jr., Juan (Birdie) Sandoval, Joseph Quintana, Luis Pacheco, Mario Romero, Honorary pallbearers named are Jaime Quiroz.
