Lorraine Pacheco

Lorraine (Lor) Pacheco , age 63, a resident of Cebolla, born May 24, 1955, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, October 12, 2018. She resided in Chama for the past 30 years. Lorraine enjoyed life to the fullest, she enjoyed her Black Velvet, her love for the casino, Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad and for being an excellent cook. Her laughter was like no other, her heart was her beloved family, friends, and her Gatita. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, God-mother, step-mother, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, Paulino and Margaret Archuleta; brothers, James, Leroy, Felix, and Juan Archuleta; niece, Ernestina Archuleta; sister-in-law, Ruby Archuleta; God-mother, Mary Leyba and numerous aunts and uncles. Lorraine is survived by her husband, Max Pacheco; sons, Ronnie Martinez (Melissa), Tommy Martinez (Debbie); God-daughters, Amanda Archuleta and Katrina Cox; step-daughter, Daisy Young (Nazario); grandchildren, Jordan, Gabriel, Aubrianna and Aiden Martinez; brothers and sisters, Bobby Archuleta, Loyda Rodela (Steven), Irma Valdez (Greg), Terry Martinez (Joseph), Shirley Archuleta, Arlene Archuleta, Luis Archuleta (Nena), Ernesto Archuleta, Pinky Jacquez (Gabe), Tony Archuleta, Pablo Archuleta, Richard Archuleta, Gilberto Archuleta (Jennifer); sister-in-law, Lenora Valdez. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts and friends. A special thank you to her niece, Reyes Rivas and those ones who helped care for her. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Peace of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial to follow at Cebolla Cemetery with her brothers serving as pallbearers, Bobby, Luis, Ernesto and Tony. Honorary pallbearers named, Kathy, Reyes, Patsy, Karen and Miranda. The family of Lorraine (Lor) Pacheco has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
