Lori Ann Age - 32 - Chimayo Vigil

Lori Ann Vigil, 32, a resident of Chimayo passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 24, 2011. Lori was currently on the Dean’s List at Northern New Mexico College. She had a big heart and would help everyone in need. She was a licensed Barista & loved everything about coffee. Lori loved all her nieces and nephew like her own & she loved her Chihuahua, Baby. Lori loved her family dearly & will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her father, Sammy Vigil, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Eduardo and Josefina Maestas; paternal grandmother, Mary Vigil; close friend, Stephanie Padilla. Lori is survived by her mother, Bernie Vigil; brothers: Sammy Vigil, Jr., Charles Vigil and companion Nichole Borrego all of Chimayo; nieces/nephew: Victoria Vigil, Samantha Vigil, Sammy Vigil III, Samantha R. Borrego and Olivia J. Vigil; paternal grandfather, Arturo Vigil; aunts/uncles: Stephanie Martinez and husband Pula of Albuquerque, Candie Chacon of La Puebla, Ruby Maes of Española, Helen Bustos and husband Lawrence of Española, Albert Vigil of Española, Eppie Martinez and husband Estevon of La Puebla, Remijo Martinez and wife Ofelia of La Puebla, Manuel Martinez and wife Antonia of La Puebla, Lily Martinez of La Puebla and Eusebio Chacon of El Rito; best friend, like a sister, Shannon Martinez and husband Leon of Chimayo; close cousins: Kathyern Martinez, Yvonne Williams, Joseph, Bobby and Matias Chacon and Gabriel Archuleta. Public visitation will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. A second rosary will be recited on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo with burial to follow at Nuestra Señora de Dolores Catholic Cemetery in Chimayo with the following serving as pallbearers: Leon Martinez, Gabriel Archuleta, Felix Lewis, Juan Martinez, Aniceto Chavez, Bobby and Matias Chacon; honorary pallbearers: Kathyern Martinez, Yvonne Williams, Joseph Chacon, Victoria, Samantha, and Sammy Vigil III, Samantha R. Borrego, Olivia J.
