Loriann Quintana-Martinez

d. April 13, 2015

Loriann Quintana -Martinez, 53, entered into Eternal Life with her Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, April 13, 2015. She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Quintana; father of her daughter, Donald Chavez; brother-in-law, Nestor Martinez Jr., sister-in-law, Janelle Martinez. Loriann was born on June 17, 1961. Everyone who was lucky enough to know Loriann, you were blessed. She entered a room like a whirlwind of energy, love, laughter, and joy. She was a beautiful person inside and out, her heart was as big as her smile. Her dimples were the envy of all of us. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her, without her the house will be a little quieter, the phone will ring a little less, our days will be a little emptier. The sun won’t shine quite as bright as it used to. We all thank God for having the chance to love her and have her love us. Even though we all know she is with her Savior Jesus Christ, and there are no more tears, no more sadness, no more pain or fears, she will always be in our memories, in our stories and in our hearts. We love you Loriann-Shine on! Loriann is survived by her husband Gene Martinez; daughter, Mariah Chavez and boyfriend Kyle Duda; step-son, Eugene Martinez Jr., and grandson, Bently Martinez; mother, Stella Quintana; sisters, Linda Atencio, Judith Poshard and husband Howard, brothers, Steve Quintana and wife Carmen, Danny Quintana, Darren Quintana and wife Melissa Ortiz; father-in-law, Nestor Martinez and wife Sylvia; sisters-in-law, Kathy, Susan Martinez and husband Joe, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends. A devotional service will be held on Friday, April 17, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Rock Christian Fellowship, with a rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Canada in Santa Cruz. The family of Loriann Quintana-Martinez has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley.\r\n
