Lino Magin Age - 69 Española Herrera

Lino Magin Herrera – Age 69, a resident of Española passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2011 after a lengthy illness. Lino was born in Medanales. He liked going to the horse races & the casinos. He absolutely loved his wife’s pineapple upside down cake. His wife was everything to him. His favorite show was of Bill O’ Reilly. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Dennis Herrera and Robert Herrera; sister, Erminia Martinez. Mr. Herrera is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Sharon L. Herrera of Española; children: David Lee Herrera, Mark James Herrera and Michelle Andrea Herrera all of California; grandchildren: David A. Herrera, Gabriel C. Herrera, Cynthia A. Herrera, Andrew J. DeLaRosa, Adriana DeLaRosa, Ashley F. Sanchez, Melissa T. Sanchez, Daniella Sanchez, Lino J. Herrera and Emilee Louise Sanchez; brothers/sisters: Abel Herrera and wife Priscilla of Medanales, Irene Bustos of Arroyo Seco, Marcial Herrera and wife Debbie of Albuquerque; niece, Ida Martinez of Medanales; sisters-in-law, Debbie Loftin of California and Dorene Herrera of Albuquerque; numerous other loving relatives & friends. Public visitation will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel at DeVargas Funeral Home with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, September 12, 2011. Serving as pallbearers will be: David A. Herrera, Andrew de la Rosa, Carlos Herrera, Victor Herrera, Dennis Herrera and Rudy Martinez; honorary pallbearers: Lino J. Herrera and Anthony Baquero.
