Linette Ashley Tafoya, 21, a resident of Santa Clara Pueblo passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2011. She had a big heart. Linette loved her family and friends, served at Victory Faith Church in any capacity asked of her. She also served in many capacities at First Indian Baptist Church. She was educated at Victory Faith Church, graduating at the age of 16 and class Valedictorian. Linette had dreams of being a missionary in Africa; she had a genuine love for everyone, unconditional love. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Billie Rose Tafoya Lee; grandmother, Cecilia Naranjo; grandfather, Jose Dan Tafoya; grandfather, James Lee McLean; uncles: Kenneth and Bo Tafoya, Claude and Allison Luke Tafoya. She is survived by her parents, Lincoln and Judy Tafoya; sisters: Cecilia and Sarah Tafoya, Josetta, Chelsea and Tristen Tafoya; twin brother, Lincoln Ahdosy Tafoya; brother, Eli Tafoya; uncles that she was very close to, Mike Tafoya, Matthew Tafoya; aunts: Fern and Sharon; many other uncles and aunts. Wake will be held on Monday, March 7, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 8:00 a.m. at Victory Faith Church in Española with burial to follow at Santa Clara Pueblo Cemetery.
