Linda Amies

LINDA CHERYL AMIES, 68, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2015. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Edward Stewart. She was born in Decatur, Illinois on August 6, 1947.  In 2003 after 3 years of dating, Linda married Charles Patrick Amies of Los Alamos, the couple made their happy life together in Ojo Caliente. Linda had a gift of growing flowers and plants where no one would expect them to grow. Chuck and Linda’s home has plants and flowers inside and out for friends and family to enjoy. She had a deep love for animals, she was a wonderful cook and loved to paint. Linda loved her husband and family deeply, she devoted her life to them and the many friends she made along the way. Linda will be dearly missed by her husband, friends and family but they will forever have her in their hearts. Linda left this earth too soon, She is with the Lord, and had been blessed with the life she and Charles had made. Linda is survived by her husband of 12 years, Charles Amies; mother, Jean Leona Oskins; sons, David and Joe Stewart; brother, Tom Stewart; daughter-in-law, Theresa Stewart; granddaughters, Sophia and Viviana; grandson, Manuel. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at her home.
