Lillian - Age 66 - Truchas - Cordova

LILLIAN T. CORDOVA, 66, a resident of Truchas and Rio Chiquito, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 7, 2013 following a long battle with cancer. She was born on January 19, 1947. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Isabel Trujillo; sister, Connie Sandoval; nephew, Joshua R. Montaño; father-in-law, Albert Cordova, Sr. and brother-in-law, Albert Cordova, Jr. Lillian retired after 39 years as the Administrative Assistant for the Superintendents of Española schools. Mrs. Cordova is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Max Cordova, Sr.; children, David Cordova of Santa Fe, Bonnie D’Angelo of Albuquerque, and Max Cordova, Jr. and wife Sara of Rio Chiquito; grandchildren, Enrique Cordova, Reno D’Angelo and Monet Lilly Cordova; sister, Jeannie Montaño of Rio Chiquito; brother, Nick Trujillo, Jr. and wife Patricia of Rio Chiquito; mother-in-law, Cordelia Cordova of Truchas; brothers-in-law, William Cordova and wife Nena of Albuquerque, Sammy Cordova and wife Sandra of Truchas, Richard Cordova and wife Diane of Alcalde, Ricky Cordova and wife Adrina, Melvin Cordova of Truchas; sisters-in-law, Margie Murrieta and husband Roger of Denver, CO, Darlene Montoya and husband Mike of Truchas, Christine Valdez and husband Carl of Española, Grace Cordova of Truchas, Joann Gutierrez and Tina Cordova; close nieces, Valerie Martinez and husband Benjie and Julie Trujillo; close nephew, Charlie Trujillo; brother-in-law, John Sandoval and wife Otilia; aunts, Minnie Quintana of Sombrillo and Tonie Romero of Cordova and 61 loving nieces and nephews and numerous other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a devotional service to follow at 7:00 p.m. A second devotional service will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the Smith Memorial Presbyterian Church in Truchas. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. also at the Smith Memorial Presbyterian Church in Truchas. Burial is pending at this time.
