Librado Margarito (Magge) DeAguero

Librado Margarito (Magge) DeAguero, of Cuarteles, NM, passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, January 14, 2024, surrounded by his family, at the age of 89. He was tired and wanted to join his parents and family in heaven. 

He left home at a young age. He worked for several companies doing construction and other duties in California, Colorado, Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Espanola. He was a good backhoe operator, running gas lines, water lines, and a lot of other work that he did all of his life. He retired after 65 years of hard work. After retirement he enjoyed going to the Casinos, meeting with good friends, and having a good time. After he got sick, he liked staying home, watching TV, football games, and going out to eat. 

He is preceded in death by his parents Antonio and Margarita DeAguero, his in-laws Andres and Orlinda Lopez, sons Ralph and Steven, and daughter Theresa (Leroy), brothers Herminio, Jerry, Christobal and 

Jose Blas, sister Alice Rael, brothers-in-law Andy, Johnny, and James Lopez, sister-in-law Luggie Martinez. 

He is survived by his wife Carol of 68 years, sons Rick and Robert, daughters Eva (Bob), and Beverlee, sisters Grace, Umelia, and Patsy, sisters-in-law Virginia, Carmen (Nick), and Paulita, and their families, seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two great great-grand girls, and one coming this year, six God children, and lots of compadres and comadres, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, and friends. 

Mass will be on Friday, January 26, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Santa Cruz, NM.
