Leroy Martinez

Jose Leroy Martinez 59, a resident of El Rito passed away on Friday, December 4, 2015 of natural causes. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elisaida Martinez; brother, Silviano Martinez; nieces, Valerie and Adriana; nephew, Christopher Lovato; grandparents, Juan Antonio and Camilla Ocaña, Silviano and Gregorita Martinez; in-laws, Onesimo and Louisa Morales; brothers-in-law, Ronnie and Pancho Morales; sister-in-law, Joann Trujillo. Mr. Martinez is survived by his father, Federico Martinez; wife, Genivive Martinez; son, Archie Martinez and wife Merissa; daughters, Vanessa Rico and husband Cesar, Suzanne Martinez  and  Patrick Lucero, Stephanie Martinez and partner Jeremy Valdez; grandchildren, Maria, Gerald, Isaac, Luis, Rosa, Shauian, Angela, Izaiah, Brandon and Khloe; brothers, Joe Martinez and wife Judy and Dennis Martinez and wife Rosita; sisters, Patsy Duran and husband Juan, Lulu Duran and husband Jesus, Vangie Martinez; sister-in-law, Vickie Martinez; several brothers and sisters-in-law and numerous other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the San Juan Nepomuceno Catholic Church in El Rito. Memorial mass will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the San Juan Nepomuceno Catholic Church, with a burial to follow at the El Rito Cemetery. The family of Jose Leroy Martinez has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
