Leroy - Age 56 - Albuquerque/Española Herrera

LEROY P. HERRERA, 56, a resident of Albuquerque and formerly of Española, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 following a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo and Mariquita Herrera; brothers, Gilbert, Albert Fermin and Dennis Herrera; half brothers, Alfredito, Paul and Clyde Herrera, Sr.; sister, Cordilia Herrera-Baca and Esperanza, mother of his daughter Lori. Mr. Herrera is survived by his son, Leroy Herrera; daughters, Lisa Robinson both of Albuquerque, and Lori Herrera of Pasadena, CA; sister, Dora Serrano of Gallina; brother, Joe Herrera of Velarde; mother of his daughters, Glorianna Lee of Yuma, Arizona; 6 grandchildren and numerous other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Friday, April 13, 2012 p.m. 6:30 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the San Jose Catholic Church in Hernandez. Burial to follow at the San Jose Catholic Cemetery in Hernandez with the following serving as pallbearers, Manuel Herrera, Joe Anthony Herrera, Jr., Roy Romero, Jr., Leroy Albert Herrera, Jr., Troy Christian Lee and Maurice Serrano, Jr. The family of Leroy P.
